Tap water filter for large freshwater aquarium.?

if the tap is really horrible try putting snow into buckets and just letting it melt. Low tech filters i dunno only reverse osmosis will work. Carbon filtration will do nothing as the water may be contaminated. With power outages and insufficient pressure water should be boiled or treated with chlorine then add dechlorinator and probably a ton of it as well
