How do i make a fish treat stick?

I just bought a blue betta (scuba steve) and i heard that you can train them so i started to fiddle around with him.....so far i tought him to jump for food (not bad since i have had him for 4 days). But what i wanted to know is if anyone had an idea on how to make a treat giver....like they have in the r2 fish school kit (i dont want to spend all of the money :P ) please help! Thanks!
