How can we get the youth interested?

I am in a small church and in desperate need of help. Our congregation is very small, only about 250, and consists mainly of older people (40s and up). Unfortunately, the number of youth members is extremely limited and decreasing every year. The older members also don't view the youth as "important enough" so we are pretty much on our own. I need a few ideas on how to get the youth interested in church again, and keeping them interested. We currently have a youth service on Sunday evenings with a small band. But still, no one is coming and the situation is becoming more desperate. Please, if you have any ideas I would really appreciate it.
