Are those laser hair removal machines, sold in Argos, any good?

The thought of letting anyone loose with a laser pointed at their intimate bits just seems wrong! I would have thought that for general use the laser would be pretty weak so that it's safe to use, as salons have to have special training to use them. Stick to salons you're less likely to do yourself a mischief.
