Sweet 16 gift?

My friend and also my pairs partner for baton twirling, has invited me to her sweet 16 party. I have no idea what to get her, My mom says at sweet 16's you usually just give them money, if thats the case i don't want to be the only girl bringing a gift. She is total oppisite of me. I am a big girly girl but she is not, and I think she is quiting baton after this year. She likes music, but i don't know what. I never been to a sweet 16 party before. What do people usually give. I am so confused. But we are also good friends, but just at practice, we don't even go to the same school. I need help???I wanted to give her a movie bucket and a movie, but again i don't know what movies she likes.
