My lifes taken a turn for the worst and i feel like i will be single forever...? Does this happen i'm 19?

I think your doctor is just diagnosing you with bipolar disorder to take the easy way out. Your 19, you will naturally have a chemical inbalance and guess what, it is going to suck, get over it! but someday your going to start your own life, be completely in control of it and pay your own bills, I'd be worried about what kind of adult your going to be rather then when a girl is going to come into your life! you have so much time to get there! enjoy being single and when it happens it will happen! Don't be sedperate or it will be longer, we sniff out desperateness. not meaning it mean just being honest! Congrats on engineering, there are girls there by the way, You'll be fine!
